Not designed in a boardroom. Debugged at a dispatch desk.
Kornox grew inside a working appliance repair and HVAC operation — built by the people who answered the phones, dispatched the techs and chased the invoices, one real problem at a time.
First it ran our shop. Then it became the product.
Before Kornox was software for sale, it was survival tooling. We ran appliance repair and HVAC brands in New York — real dispatchers, real technicians, real Google Ads budgets — and the day-to-day was held together by group chats, spreadsheets and memory. Every tool we tried was either a toy or a cockpit built for someone else’s business.
So we built our own, in the order the pain arrived: first the phones, because missed calls are burned money. Then the schedule and the Telegram job offers, because group-chat dispatch loses jobs. Then estimates, invoices and card payments, because “the client will send a check” is not a receivables strategy. Then attribution, because the ad budget deserved the same honesty as the bank account.
Kornox still runs that operation today — every feature you see in a demo processed real calls and real payments first. That is the whole pitch: we don’t sell you a theory of how a repair company should work. We sell you the system ours actually runs on.
The rules we build by
Boring reliability wins
A dispatch system has one job: never lose anything. We choose simple, proven tech over fashionable stacks — the same discipline that keeps our own phones ringing.
Meet people where they are
Techs get Telegram, clients get SMS, dispatchers get one screen. Adoption beats elegance — software nobody opens saves nobody money.
Revenue is the scoreboard
Not logins, not clicks, not “engagement”. Every module ends at the same question: did this book more jobs or collect more dollars?
